Settings

Manage personal profile, security, linked accounts, sessions, and display preferences.

Settings contains account-specific options for the current CrossWatch profile.

Profile Settings differs from the main CrossWatch administration settings. Available options depend on your role and assigned permissions.

Watcher and Playback are Profile sections, not Profile Settings options. Use Watcher for real-time scrobbling. Use Playback to review and manage playback progress.

Profile

Use Profile to manage your personal account details. You can:

  • Change or remove your profile picture

  • Change your display name

  • View your username and account role

Security

Use Security to manage how you sign in. You can:

  • Change your password

  • Enable or disable two-step verification

  • Set up an authenticator

  • Generate or review backup codes, when supported

Linked accounts

Linked accounts shows external identities linked to your CrossWatch account. Depending on configured authentication, this can include:

  • Plex

  • Single sign-on through OIDC

Available link and unlink actions depend on your account and server configuration.

Devices

Devices lists your active signed-in sessions. Review sessions and sign out ones that no longer need access.

You can also sign out every other session.

Display

Display is available to administrators and managed users with write permission. Current preferences include:

  • Now Playing card

  • Quick Add button

These settings control whether the matching interface elements appear for your profile.

Use Profile Settings to manage your account, security, linked identities, sessions, and display preferences.

Profile Settings is available at /profile#account.

Account actions use Profile APIs for profile details, avatar, password, two-step verification, and sessions.

Provider, synchronization, and server settings remain in the main administration settings.
