This release has upgrade notes.
Plex: shared server support
CrossWatch now supports shared Plex servers (servers you don’t own).
This required major changes to Plex authentication and sync adapters.
Thanks for the idea and support @mesitisg.
Recommended action: recreate your Plex authentication config (delete and re-add).
Disable Watcher first.
Keep your pairs and Watcher routes.
Re-apply whitelists and double-check Plex settings.
Highlights
Plex: shared server support
Sync and Watcher now work on shared servers.
Fixes & improvements
Plex: dual-token handling
Keeps separate tokens for Plex account (cloud) and Plex server (PMS) access.
PMS features now use the correct token consistently.
Plex: history + ratings on shared servers
History and ratings sync now use the PMS-scoped token.
Fixes shared-server authorization issues.
Plex: “mark watched/unwatched” tracking
Manual “mark watched/unwatched” actions are tracked more reliably for history sync.
Uses a separate cache.
Plex: fallback GUID option
